Kristin Galison
Kristin Galison is a former Assistant District Attorney experienced in all aspects of criminal law. Prior to joining the Law Office of David Galison, P.C., she worked for nearly a decade at the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office where she prosecuted both felony and misdemeanor cases. During her tenure with the office, Kristin worked in the District Court Trial Bureau where she specialized in litigating Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) cases. Kristin also worked in the Felony Screening Bureau, Grand Jury Bureau and County Court Trial Bureau. She has tried over two dozen cases to verdict and conducted countless pretrial hearings.
Kristin has now brought her passion for criminal law and vast litigation experience to the Law Office of David Galison, P.C. She zealously advocates on behalf of each and every one of her clients. Her goal is to provide knowledgeable, skilled and effective defense to every case she handles.
Kristin Galison is the 2015 recipient of the Nassau County Women’s Bar Association Courage Award. She is a graduate of the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. While earning her Juris Doctorate, Kristin participated in the AAJ Student Trial Advocacy Competition and the National Institute for Trial Advocacy Trial Techniques Program. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Geneseo.

“This is my first review of a lawyer that I’ve ever written, and I don’t know where to start. That being said I guess, well if you’ve ever been in some serious trouble picking the right lawyer is tough. I went to so many lawyers before I chose Kristen. It was a nightmare. The reason I chose her is because her price was very fair. Especially for a DWI . Kristen was extremely professional, very nice. Kristen went over my entire case with me top to bottom. If I had trouble understanding something, she made sure to go over it with me and describe what was going on.
In my opinion Kristen did everything that she could right. I never once didn’t know what was going on. When she knew I knew. She kept in contact with me so I wouldn’t feel left out. Kristen also went out of her way to meet me on weekends when I needed it because I have such a busy schedule. Kristen had me take extra precautions to make me look better in court. She knew exactly what to do. I’d rather have it and not need it then need it and not have it. (If you know what I mean).
In the court room kristen handled herself very well. She was very confident, and was always prepared with whatever we needed. Which made me feel alot better that I didn’t have a lazy lawyer. Kristen may seem all nice and sweet on the outside, but let me assure you. The woman is a PITBULL! That’s not a joke. She fought for me and she will fight for you. I witnessed her on several different occasions fighting for my innocence with the police officer that arrested me, or the judge. It was amazing. She worked wonders.
Needless to say I’m very happy with the outcome of my case. I got a speeding ticket. Just for your information that’s way better then a dwi on your record. Not to mention all the money you will have to spend, and you get to keep your license. I had my license the entire time; start to finish. I’m sure I’m leaving so many things out, but this has already become a lengthy review. I give Kristen Galison A+’s across the board. I couldn’t be happier with the turnout of the case, and the lawyer I chose. I would definitely recommend her to anyone with any traffic trouble. I just hope I never have to use her again.”
